So there's no iPhone 5 as rumored as Apple rolled out the new iPhone 4S last night during the Let's Talk iPhone press conferent in the US. So we think we want to know what's changed because the 4S looks the same as the previous iPhone 4. In short, better features coming with iPhone 4S are (1) a 1GHz dual-core A5 processor, (2) 8MP camera that promises fastest shutter speed, clearer photos and 1080p HD camera recording capability, (3) AirPlay, a wireless streaming music playing, (4) new iOS5, (5) new antenna, and (6) Siri, a virtual assitant that interacts with you by voice commands.

With Siri, you could creat and send text messages and emails, set alarms and reminders, make phone calls or even find restaurants located nearby. It supports only English, German and French for now. We often prefer to text friends rather than call them, so why exactly might we enjoy talking to our phone? iPhone 4S users will soon find out.

iPhone 4S will be available in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, France, Germany and Japan on Oct 14 from US$199 with contract. More 22 countries (including Singapore which is nearest to us) will get iPhone 4S on Oct 28. No Thailand on the list, of course. The iPhone 4 came out 3 months late, which has us guessing the iPhone 4S will be released here Dec 2011 at best, and possibly Jan 2012.
