  • IKEA and Doi Tung Development Project Release Allvarlig Tableware Collection

We told you last week that brand collaborations are hot. Now IKEA has just unveiled its first-ever such meeting of great minds and their partner is Thai! The partnership with Doi Tung Development Project of the Mae Fah Luang Foundation has been in the making for five years, and the result is the Allvarlig tableware collection. IKEA’s designer Anna Efverlund takes inspiration from her trips to Doi Tung to produce simply carved crockery inspired by the Chiang Rai highland’s plants and seeds. The palette is yellow, brown and black, allowing for colorful foods to really pop when served on them. Prices are B129-699. Only available at IKEA's Bang Na store. 36 Moo 6, Bang Na-Trat Rd., Samutprakarn, 02-708-7999. www.ikea.co.th
