Steering well clear of the tired wine bar trend, Ogu Ogu (G/F, Park Ventures Ecoplex, 57 Wireless Rd., 02-108-2255) is dubbing itself a sake bar. While the modern yet cozy décor is different from typical Japanese eateries, the cuisine isn’t miles away: expect dishes like whisky karaage (B380), tempura rolls (B280), pork katsu (breaded cutlets) with Japanese curry and rice (B380) and miso fondue (B480). And, of course, there’s a wide selection of sake.
