We still have a soft spot for houses tastefully turned into restaurants. L’ulivo (43 Naradhiwas Soi 7, 02-677-5756) has restored a 60-year-old house into an Italian restaurant run by chef Danilo Aiassa, who was Italian chef of Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok. The kitchen turns out dishes like homemade seafood lasagna with cherry tomato sauce and amaretti (B450) and zabaglione semifredo with caramelised almond (B260).
