The French restaurant Vatel (CAT Telecom Building, 72 Charoenkrung Rd., 02-639-7532), operated by Vatel Institute students, has just moved closer to the city. Good news except that Vatel’s new canteen-like location is at the back of the CAT Building and opens only for lunch. Led by French chef Yvon Blandin, the current menu is an introduction to four regions in France, such as fillet fish with ratatouille (B230) for Provence and escargot with white wine sauce for Burgundy.
