Japanese omakase-style restaurant Fillets is teaming up with Glenmorangie single malt for a special four-course whiskey pairing dinner on Sep 30.

The meal will start with fresh Hokkaido scallop crudo and braised sea eel on potato and leek puree topped with Osetra caviar paired with Glenmorangie The Original 10 Year Old, followed by whiskey-marinated foie gras served with sauteed grape paired with the spicy and fruity Glenmorangie Lasanta 12 Year Old.

Main will be a choice of bacon-wrapped beef tenderloin served with bone marrow, mushroom ketchup and beef fat-fried rice onigiri or miso-marinated black cod, koshihikari risotto served with crispy burdock root and vegetables, paired with the rich and oaky Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban 12 Year Old.

Completing the meal will be yuzu tart meringue paired with the mild Glenmorangie Nectar D’or Sauternes Cask Finish, followed by a serving of the prized Glenmorangie 18 Year Old. B4,500 per person, reservations required.
