You used to go to Da Vinci Ristorante restaurant at the Rembrandt hotel for one of the best sub-B2,000 Sunday brunches out there.

Now there’s another reason: an extended alfresco space that takes in the breeze from its fourth-story poolside perch. The changes make sure that the homey, Italian trattoria vibe stays the same, though now there’s a more modern edge.

Head there for the pizzas (starting from B230 for Margarita), which the chefs slide from a giant, copper-plated, wood-fired pizza oven, as well as the fresh ravioli filled with ricotta and parmesan cheese.

The Sunday brunch (B1,250) still offers foie gras, cold-cuts, cheeses, barbecue and pizza, as well as unlimited wine.
