Ristorante Consorzio Takeover

Turin’s Consorzio restaurant is all about pristine, Piedmontese produce gathered from the farms, vineyards and wild countryside that surround the city. That philosophy squares pretty strongly with the team at Appia, Paolo Vitaletti and Jarrett Wrisley, who’ve invited Consorzio’s owners, Pietro Vergano and Miro Mattalia, to come cook a tasting menu (B1,800) at their homey Sukhumvit Italian restaurant for two nights on Jul 26-27. Piedmont's robust flavors and red meats shine in dishes like roasted veal, sweet breads with smoked apricot, and shallots, and fassona beef cheek stew. Dinner kicks off with an aperitivo and Piedmontese snacks. Add B1,200 if you want the wine pairing.
