The Bangkok branch of the Shanghai-born Revolucion Cocktail has been working on a back garden complete with swimming pool, which they plan to open just before Songkran, according to Thomas Gauthier, one of the partners.

The back garden pool is sponsored by Absolut Vodka and shaped like an Absolut bottle. There will be 65 seats outside on top of several sunbeds by the pool.

Families with kids are welcome for brunch during the weekend with a plan to also build a playground for the little ones to run wild. It'll open at 11am, seven days a week.

The bar also just launched a new cocktail menu, available now. Tom Kha Kai (B300) features vodka infused with classic tom kha spices of chili, lemongrass and kaffir leaves along with coconut puree, lime juice and a very sweet galanga syrup.

The Instagram star is a new drink called The Chinese Takeaway (B340, pictured below), which comes in a Chinese takeaway box and is meant to evoke the flavor profile of sweet-and-sour dishes. In the mix is Jameson whiskey, BrancaMenta (an Italian liqueur with a herbal, minty flavor), cinnamon syrup, lime juice, apple juice and orange bitters.
