Things are heating up at the decadent Maggie Choo’s as it launches its own official "love your own kind" night.

Every Sunday from 7:30pm will see those gipao-adorned ladies on their swings replaced by topless guys in silk trousers and turbans, assumedly boasting six-packs, too.

Things kick off this week (Aug 24), with a night entitled The Importance Of Being Earnest, drawing inspiration from Oscar Wilde’s satire of the Victorian era. See more here.

Artworks from Harit Srikhao's "Whitewash" exhibition

On Jun 16, the military visited two galleries near Sathorn, Cartel Artspace and Gallery Ver on Narathiwat Rajanagarindra Soi 22, and ordered Gallery Ver to remove five works relating to the political protests of 2010, as part of Harit Srikhao's Whitewash exhibition. Jirat ‘Tae’ Ratthawongjirakul, 29, has managed the gallery for the past six years, and was there when the raid took place.
