Could it be true? Has every expat's dream come true? Netflix is a service allowing you to stream as many movies as you want to your TV, for a fixed monthly subscription. And it's been long awaited here in Thailand. Currently, the website at https://signup.netflix.com/global, still says: "Sorry, Netflix is not available in your country yet. Enter your email & we'll let you know when Netflix is available."

But then we came across this other website: http://netflix.in.th/

That new website is asking you part with some personal information to be considered for a Netflix trial. We've also obtained pictures of a flyer (see above) that actually states a monthly subscription fee of B990 per month.

So far, we're told http://innovium.co.th is behind this trial offer. We've contacted them for further details and will be updating this page as we find out more.

In the meantime, we don't recommend you give away your personal information until we have more details.

UPDATE: The person we contacted at Innovium says: "Negotiations are under way. It will still be a few years until a full launch to open this market. We are running a private test at this point to gauge interest in SEA." So to clarify, http://netflix.in.th/ isn't affiliated with Netflix.
