One of the most influential actors in the Thai film industry, Mitr Chaibancha contributed a whopping 266 films in 14 years before falling to his death from a helicopter while filming the final scene of Insee Thong (Golden Eagle) on October 8, 1970. In honor of the 41st anniversary of his death, the Film Archive Public Organization of Thailand 94, Buddhamonthon Sai 5 Rd., 02-482-2013) will hold a screening of his film Sam Kluer Jer Long Hon (10:30am), host special Mitr Chaibancha exhibition and screen a biographical documentary (3:30pm).
