This Mar 26, Sulak Sivaraksa, who has been accused of lese majeste on three occasions, takes the stage at Bangkok Art & Culture Center for a one-of-a-kind Khon performance adapted from a traditional Ramakien epic. 

The social advocate and leading political figure is now showcasing his political views in a dance performance titled Prach Thon Took, a narrative reflecting Thailand’s current political situation that involves themes surrounding class, wrongful dictatorship and the fight for power.

Sivaraksa will be joined by Silpathorn-winning contemporary dancers Pichet Klunchun and Pradit Prasatthong, as well as artist Thepsiri Suksopha in this one-off performance.
