It's officially cofirmed: American rock band Goo Goo Dolls will be making their Bangkok debut this Feb 17, 2017 as part of their world tour. They'll be taking the stage at BCC Hall, Central Plaza Ladphrao, with tickets going for B2,000 each. The sale date is yet to be announced.

Formed in New York back in 1986, Goo Goo Dolls consist of John Rzeznik (vocals and guitar), Robby Takac (vocals and bass) and Goerge Tutuska (drums). Arguably best known for their 1998 single "Iris," along with other hits like "Name," "Naked," and "Slide," the band have also sold more than 12 million albums throughout their career, as well as earned four Grammy Award nominations.

The band are now on tour to promote their eleventh studio album, Boxes, which includes hit singles like "Over and Over" and "So Alive". Other Asian destinations so far include Taipei and Manila.

Goo Goo Dolls joins the list of big international artists performing in Bangkok early next year, on top of Rudimental (Feb 16-19), Guns N' Roses (Feb 28), and Coldplay (April 7).
