Ex-Oasis lead singer Liam Gallagher is Bangkok-bound with a concert announced for early 2018.

Promoters The Very Company today announced on Facebook that the British bad boy rocker will perform on Jan 12, 2018 at Bitec Bangna Hall 106.

Tickets start at an early-bird price of B3,200, rising to B3,600, while VIP access is B4,600, available via bit.ly/2znrmu1 from Nov 11.

Gallagher made his name together with his songwriter brother Noel as lead singer of Manchester rock band Oasis, whose albums Definitely Maybe (1994) and (What's the Story) Morning Glory (1995) topped the charts and came to define the mid-90s Britpop movement. Since Oasis' explosive break-up in 2009, Gallagher formed rock band Beady Eye, which came to an end in 2014.

In October, Gallagher released his debut solo album As You Were which again topped the UK charts and spawned hits like "Chinatown" and "Wall of Glass."

Oasis visited Bangkok way back in 2001, though Liam's brother (and regular sparring partner) Noel played here in 2012 with his band the High-Flying Birds.
