  • DNCE is coming to Bangkok

American dance-rock band DNCE will make their Bangkok debut this Aug 10 at Muang Thai GMM Live House, Siam Paragon. Tickets go on sale this Jun 25 via Thaiticketmajor for B2,500.

Led by ex-Jonas Brothers singer Joe Jonas, joined by Jack Lawless, Cole Whittle, and JinJoo Lee, the band made a name for themselves with the hit single "Cake by the Ocean," which reached the top 10 in the US Billboard's Top 100 in 2015. Since then, they've collaborated with names like Nicky Minaj and Selena Gomez, and have released a self-titled album including songs like "Toothbrush," "Kissing Strangers" and "Body Moves."

Their upcoming Bangkok concert will be part of music organizer BEC Tero's Soundbox event series, which in the past has brought over names like Charlie Puth and Temper Trap. They'll be joined on the night by opening acts Sekai No Owari and Gnash.

BEC Tero have been on fire lately, with this being the fourth concert they've announced this month including Chainsmokers, Harry Styles, One Republic and Ariana Grande. On top of that, Bangkok's also about to welcome Britney Spears, Ed Sheeran, Foo Fighters and Phoenix by the end of the year. Safe to say, many people are feeling very, very broke.

Until August, have a listen to DNCE's hit single "Cake by the Ocean":
