Shasa Resort and Residences

    Shasa Resort and Residences

Buzz: Hidden on a cliff overlooking the southern sea of Samui Island, Shasa takes some effort to get to. But once you check in and get to the room, you’ll find a very large space that offers real apartment living—and only a few units on each floor. Rooms come with a proper kitchen, laundry area with washing machine and dryer, large dining table, living room with a sea view balcony, not to mention a bedroom from which you can watch the sea while lazing in bed. It’s not a white sand beach but there are three swimming pools.
Rooms: 32 suites (120-259 sq meters) and one beachfront pool villa (320 sq meters)
Food & Spa: Beyond the Sea restaurant whips up Thai cuisine and catch of the day seafood. The spa offers all the usual pampering.
Verdict: If you don’t really need a very nice beach, this is one of the best deals you can get on this island.
Rates: If you can book 30 days in advance, rates are from B4,650-13,817. Last minute deals are B4,941-14,680 for bookings 10-days in advance. Rates are exclusive of taxes and service charge.
