The old Chinatown neighborhood of Woeng Nakorn Kasem may have vanished, but the legendary beef soup of Chew Nuea Wua Raitiamtarn is being kept alive thanks to the grandson of the restaurant's original owner.
At Ten Suns' revamped shop-house, Chanyanpat Tiveschayun continues to season and braise his beef for 4-5 hours in accordance with his grandfather's recipe.
He also has formidable backing in Seven Spoon’s chef-owner Somkiat Pairojmahakij and indie band Apartment Khunpa’s guitarist, Gun “Ball” Rujinarong. Order your bowl of beef soup (B80) with brisket, plate and shank, or go with a bowl of each separately (B100-120).
