La Monita Taqueria

Hands-down the best place to get a super flavorful quesadilla or fish taco (B70-80) and cozy up with a date or a large party of friends. Burritos and the steak torta are also excellent.

Sunrise Tacos

Forget the new branches at Emporium and Paragon (unless you just can’t) and go to the 24 hour flagship store in Asoke for corn tortillas pressed before your very eyes. Don’t leave without trying their homemade pecan pie (B79).

Charley Brown’s

You’ll feel like a hipster among the Warholesque portraits of Mexican celebrities. We love their well-spiced albondigas (meatballs, B185) and their elaborate nacho platters, not to mention their delicious house sangria (B150).

Tacos and Salsa

Soak in their colorful Mexicana and cantina feel and try some harder-to-find dishes like frijoles charros (B90) and tortilla soup.

Coyote

While the food is not exactly stellar, it's solid and plentiful, and the ambience at both the branches of Coyote are fiesta-rific. That and their daily promotions on food and booze make for loyal followings.
