BANGKOK VENUE

Bangkokian Museum

This compound of four wooden houses dating back to 1937 offers a fascinating insight into the lifestyle of an upper-class Bangkok family. The different buildings are filled with elegant furniture and ornaments from the Rattanakosin era and the reign of King Rama V (1868-1910), and make for a charming few hours' exploration, as do the well-kept gardens kept cool by the river breeze.
