One of Chiang Mai’s largest festivals of outdoor art has returned for a second year until Apr 7. The Chiang Mai Fest & Art on Street lets you enjoy an array of music and dance performances by local and international artists including Il Quinto and Nueng Jakkawan. But the highlights (for us) are the series of 3D street art featuring trompe l’oeil paintings—such as a gaping hole in the pavement with a waterfall pouring into it—by artists from around the globe. The event is at Three Kings Monument and it’s free. More details at www.chiangmaifest.com.
