Launched early last year under an art and design theme, Siam@Siam Pattaya (038-930-600, www.siamatpattaya.com) has taken the next step to unveil a series of rooms designed in collaboration with local and international artists.

The first room is a collaboration with Belgian street artist Toska (www.facebook.com/toska47), whose usually gritty work here takes a lighter and brighter direction, taking its inspiration from the sand and the sea of Pattaya. Aside from the paint job, Toska also designed the room's the pillows, couch, minibar and hammock on the terrace.

The hotel is currently offering a special package for the Toska room at B4,999 per night, which includes My Club privileges like late check-out at 4pm, valid through Jun 30. Bookings must be made seven days in advance.

You also don't have to leave the hotel for dinner, as they're offering a cheap seafood buffet at B555-net at their Big Fish restaurant. Downstairs at Car Bar you can enjoy zip-bag cocktails.

While they haven't announced future collaborations, the hotel says they're looking to work with Thai artists.
