Samut Sakhon’s Mahachai district is best known for being home to one of the largest seafood markets around, and it’s the closest to Bangkok. This weekend we see them hold the Samut Sakhon Seafood Festival, taking place in front of the city pillar shrine until Mar 5. Expect to see (and try) super-fresh seafood from 70 local restaurants, and trust us, Samut Sakhon is not that far. For more information, call 034-411-208, 034-752-827/8 or got to tatsmsk@tat.or.th.
