There aren't too many almost-untouched islands left in Thailand where you can stay at a luxury resort, but Koh Kood's one of them.

The serene (and frighteningly expensive) Soneva Kiri (www.soneva.com/soneva-kiri) is home to nothing but pool villas spread out over an isolated peninsula accessible only by air and sea.

And now the resort has come up with a deal exclusively for Thai residents (that's you too, expats) which includes a two-night stay, daily breakfast and dinner, 50-minute spa treatment for two, and even transfers to and from Bangkok directly to the resort via private plane. The price: B88,000 through Apr 30 2016.

Hardly cheap, we know. But keep in mind that, during high season, you'd otherwise be paying upwards of B50,000 a night for room and breakfast alone.
