The 25-year-old Grand Hyatt Taipei (www.taipei.grand.hyatt.com) was recently stripped to it’s bare bones and redesigned from scratch, trading its classic primness for a more modern, less-formal vibe.

The reopened hotel, now decked out in relaxed muted colors, boasts a whole new level of comfort with its brand new deep-soaking bathtubs, goose-down duvets and sophisticated lighting.

The makeover also comes with the opening of two new restaurants and a brand new open kitchen and decor for the hotel’s well-known Club Lounge, serving Eastern and Western comfort foods.

Rooms rates vary according to season, but currently sttart at approximately B9,700 per night.
