Bob Dylan, one of the most influential musicians of all time, will be play in Hong Kong and Singapore as part of his upcoming Asia tour this August.

First, the legendary folk rocker will perform at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on Aug 4 and move on to Singapore on Aug 6 to perform at The Star Theatre.

The 76-year-old has dabbled in a wide variety of genres, from folk and blues to gospel and country, rockabilly to folk music; and made them his own. But music aside, his songwriting has itself been instrumental to his success all these years, penning songs like "Knockin' On Heaven's Door", "Like a Rolling Stone", the politically charged "The Times They Are a-Changin'" and so many more. He still regularly releases new material till this day.

Awards include the Presidential Medal of Freedom from former President Barack Obama in May 2012 and the Nobel Prize in Literature "for having created new poetic expressions within the great American song tradition" in 2016.

Will Thailand be next? Frankly, we're not holding our much hope. These latest concert announcements follow the news Bob Dylan and band will perform at Japan's Fuji Rock Festival on Jul 29.
