If you’re prepared to take a slightly indirect route then you can soon get there for a lot less with Air Asia (www.airasia.com). They’re launching a daily Air Asia X flight between its hub in Kuala Lumpur and Inchon Airport in Seoul, starting from Nov 1. And even though you have to get to KL first, the starting rates (as little as B1,509 one-way, all-inclusive) are appealing enough to make it worthwhile—as long as you don’t mind arriving in Seoul at 9:15pm.
