Samsung just unveiled its new Galaxy Note 7 at the Unpacked 2016 event on Monday, Aug 1, in New York City.

The curved-screen Note 7 comes with very many cool features including the new S-Pen with much smaller 0.7mm tip; Gorilla Glass 5 screeen and IP68 water resistance rating, which allows you to use the touch screen even when it’s wet; new USB-C chardging port; and better low-light camera.

Security has been improved, too. Apparently the fingerprint scanner is already a thing of the past, with a new iris scanner set to give us all taste of what it's like to be a real-world secret agent.

The new screen is said to provide more vibrant colors and definition, while the camera can capture pictures of moving subjects—you can even take 360-degree photos and videos with it. The Note 7 is available in black, gold, silver, and maybe blue.

The global release date is Aug 19 but, of course, Thailand will have to wait for a further announcement from Samsung. Judging from past experience, the wait could be around one month up to six weeks. For what it's worth, though, Samsung's Thai website will offer pre-booking from Aug 5.
