It’s almost the end of the year (thank god), and you know what that means: hospitality promotions coming out the wazoo. This holiday season and into the New Year, luxury hotel Trisara Phuket is launching a boatload of special dinners, promotions and events to keep you excited (but also relaxed, because let’s be honest you are on vacation) when it comes time to escape Bangkok this December.
From Dec 24 to Jan 3, there will be nine different events or promotions happening at the hotel. Some of them are single, one-off events, while others last the whole 10 days. Some of the highlights include special Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve dinners at PRU, Phuket’s only Michelin-starred restaurant. There are also excursions to the local organic farm where PRU sources many of its ingredients, as well as beach barbecues and New Year’s day brunches to keep that Champagne flowing long past the fireworks. There is also a Japanese omakase night as well if you are into high-wire sushi and nigiri.
The best part is that the hotel recently opened its newly finished cabanas on its private beachfront. The location makes it super easy to jump out of the cabanas and hop straight onto a sunset cruise or enjoy the beachside feasts. Parents can pamper themselves at the Jara Wellness spa while the kids enjoy time at the Kid’s Club.
Trisara is an award-winning luxury private pool villa and residences resort situated on a private bay in northern Phuket, Trisara features Michelin-star dining and unparalleled service, making this the ideal venue to celebrate end-of-year festivities with family and friends. The exciting Festive Season offerings have been especially curated to provide guests plenty of enchanting dining and entertainment options during their stay.

Another Story is a Bangkok fashion brand that most of us have come to know pretty well over the past five years. Their collaborations and collections with some of the country’s best names in fashion and design are always a part of the news cycle. And here we are, at it again, with a new exclusive collection, this time as part of the brand’s fifth birthday celebrations.
The collection, called the “Bangkokian” brings together a host of local and international design names to offer a range of knick knacks and attire that sums up Another Story’s ethos pretty well — motorcycle helmets, masks, prints, bags, shades, coffee mugs, shirts, hats, the whole shebang. The brands taking part include American Vintage, Coucou Suzette, Design Letters, IZIPIZI, MojiPower, The Sleeveless Garden, Monsoon Tea, Kad Kokoa, Bumshaker, Bangkok Bounce, Cosmos & Harmony, and a host of others.
The collection itself is vast — too big to fit into a story like this — so head over to Another Story’s website for a full rundown. That said, some highlights include a swanky motorcycle helmet from Bum Shaker, special sunglasses from IZIPIZI that feature a fusion of the Thai and French flag designs, cute socks from French brand Coucou Suzette, and (our favorite) special edition prints of “The Bangkokian” — a mock-magazine designed to resemble the style of The New Yorker’s iconic covers.
The “Bangkokian” will be available from now until Oct 31 at most Another Story locations, including the flagship store at The Emquartier, Another Mini Story at the Paragon Department Store and The Mall Lifestore Ngamwongwan.
Visit www.anotherstorybangkok.com for more information.
If you are a Marriott Bonvoy member and fancy yourself a full breakfast on the weekends, the new Bangkok Breakfast Club from Marriott is offering a steal of a deal. Across 12 Marriott locations (listed below), Bonboy members can order from a la carte and buffet breakfasts and get the second breakfast for one baht. Think of it like a B.O.G.O deal. You can become a Marriott Bonvoy member for free here.
The promotion lasts from now until the end of October. There is no set menu, though, as each of the participating properties offer their own breakfast options — some of which have been created specifically for the Breakfast Club.
Siam Tea Room at Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park’s is offering kanom pang sangkhaya – a toasted and buttered brioche with creamy pandan custard and fresh young coconut. Head to JW Cafe at JW Marriott Hotel Bangkok’s to snag a new yellow curry crab omelet as part of its already large breakfast buffet. Giorgio’s italian restaurant at the Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel & Towers is offering a cheesy eggs Benedict served on top of a jumbo toasted brioche. Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong Hotel, where the “Crying Tiger Roast” promises a mouth-watering mix of roasted beef brisket cubes and baby potatoes with chili hollandaise and a poached egg. The St. Regis is also getting in on the action with organic poached eggs drizzled in something called “green goddess sauce” (basically mayo, citrus, herbs and sometimes anchovies) and served with locally grown veg.
A full list of all the participating restaurants and menu items can be found on the Bangkok Breakfast Club website.
