At this point in time, no one can possibly not know the name Alexa Chung, the British model, creative consultant, writer, style influencer, designer and an Ambassador of the British Fashion Council.

Described by American Vogue as the “style bombshell” of her generation, Chung’s sense of style has made her the fashion icon of a generation. Her naturally elegant day and night looks have an element of modern masculinity that works without tearing down her femininity. Her reputation is so strong that she has voted by the public for the “British Fashion Icon” award at the British Fashion Awards in 2010, 2011 and 2012. On top of that, she has been named “Editor’s Choice” at the Elle Style Awards and No. 1 in UK Vogue’s Best Dressed list.

Thanks to Chung’s natural sense of style, the Luxury French fashion house Longchamp first enlisted her to be the face of their Spring Summer ad campaign in 2014. Marie-Sabine Leclercq, Longchamp’s Head of International Communications, revealed that Chung is a woman with a natural elegance and style. “She perfectly embodies the Longchamp woman with her eyes, which capture your attention and bring a lot of strength to the images,” she added.

And now, for Spring Summer 2016, Alexa Chung returns for the fifth Longchamp campaign photographed by legendary fashion photographer Peter Lindbergh in the Palais Royal and Tuileries gardens, Paris.

“I think we share an appreciation for classic and timeless design as well as practicality and functionality without compromising aesthetics.”

Chung about her ongoing association with Longchamp.

In the Spring Summer 2016 Campaign, the collaboration between Chung and veteran photographer Lindbergh, who has the ability to reveal the true personality of his models, results in a perfect combination of powerful emotion and femininity. With the timelessly romantic streets of Paris in the background, the campaign also highlights the brand’s effortlessly stylish new bag of the season, Pénélope.

The first visual portrays Alexa Chung in her daily Parisienne look, featuring the season’s standout ready-to-wear pieces like a belted trench in butter-soft beige lambskin that matches perfectly with the Pénélope.

Longchamp’s Artistic Director Sophie Delafontaine added that the choice of Paris as the setting for the campaign has an important meaning to Longchamp’s heritage and origins. It strengthens the message that the Longchamp woman is active, dynamic and can be seen every day striding through the streets of the capital.
