Feminine prints will be all the rage, with pale pink, polka dots and even lace patterns bringing girly—and creative—touches to your spectacles.
Worried you’ll end up looking like a cyclist? Think again. One, they’re going against the retro trend—a sign of personality. Two, they properly protect your eyes from harmful UV rays that cause wrinkles and all those other nasty things that age your skin.
Flashy colors are nothing new, but spring/summer is the season for color blocking, so expect to see a rainbow of colors out in force. And it doesn’t just apply to the frames, but to the lenses as well, with more and more graded lenses.
Vintage-style glasses have been the top trend for the last couple of seasons, so you can expect lots of cat eyes, round frames and aviator-style shades on the streets. The iconic Rayban’s Wayfarer-style, for example, has made its way into every collection out there, from Prada to Burberry, with only minor tweaks.
