One of the latest arrivals on Ari’s burgeoning dining scene is Wholly Cow Bangkok (34/1 Ari Soi 2, Paholyothin Rd., Bangkok, 02-619-8177-8. www.whollycowbkk.com), serving up affordable Australian steaks in an industrial-style modern glasshouse structure with plenty of bare brick on show. You can expect appetizers like French onion soup (B150) and scallops wrapped in bacon (B250) alongside hearty Australian rib-eye (B530) and Angus tenderloin (B640). There’s also a walk-in wine cellar with a cigar lounge called Holy Smokes on the way.
