Two new restaurants are opening in late September, both brainchilren of youthful food professionals and entrepreneurs, and we can’t wait to try them. The former chef of Embassy, Timber Suwannakoot, and his partners, will unveil Serenade at Grass later this month, along with a killer list of signature cocktails. Not too far away is the enterprise of long-time food journalist Jarrett Wrisley, Soul Food Mahanakhon (56/10 Soi Thonglor), which will source organic, free-range products and serve dishes from the North, Northeast and South of Thailand. His cocktail list was designed by a mixologist from Saigon. Stay tuned for the Open Doors.
