As part of Restaurant Weeks 2015, some of the best restaurants at Central Chidlom and Central Embassy are rolling out special dishes. See the highlights below, and read on for more promotions.
 
 

Deep fried snapper with Thai herbs and chili sauce at Eathai

Central Embassy’s basement dining hub whips up miang pla tod (deep-fried snapper, a bunch of delicious herbs and chili). The dish is available at the Northern food stall in Eathai.
 

Tartine saumon and tartine d’avocat at Paul

These two open-face sandwiches are exclusively available at this branch of Paul. The bakery’s signature bread topped with premium salmon and avocado—the taste is guaranteed.
 

Beef Wellington at Harrods Plantation Rooms

This food-heavy branch of Harrods has highlighted this British steak pie for the event, which comprises a big piece of tenderloin and special sauce for a hearty meal.
 

Aromatic duck spring rolls at Audrey Cafe Glamour

Peking duck is praised for its unique aroma and when wrapped in roll sheets then deep-fried, the result is a scrumptious added crispness. And you can’t find it at any other branch of Audrey.
 

Caramelized pork belly with hung-le barley risotto at Minibar Cafe

The classic Northern staple hung-le with tender braised pork belly is served with barley instead of ordinary steamed rice and only available during Restaurant Weeks.
 

Salmon Gravlax Blini at The Girl and the Pig

Looking for something light and refreshing? This restaurant puts together cured salmon on corn-flour blinis, topped with fried organic quail egg and horseradish-wasabi sauce.
 

Salad Talad at Siwilai Rocket Coffeebar

The salad, comprising greens and house-made tofu, is made colorful by a bunch of herbs, flowers and berries with just a dash of aged raspberry vinegar. It can be only be enjoyed at this branch of Rocket Coffee Bar.
 

Hokkaido Taraba-Kani at Nabezo Premium

This brand new set menu  pairs suvvulent Taraba crab leg with premium beef and other side dishes. Only available during Restaurant Weeks.
 

Sakuna’s Garden at Love Eat Bistro

The name translates as bird’s garden and this newly-created plate features the restaurant’s signature crab curry and other bite-size appetizers like Sakuna (bird-shaped rice flour dumpling) and mar hor (seasoned minced pork on pineapple)
 

Pumpkin ice-cream brulee at Chikalicious Dessert Bar

Exclusively for Restaurant Weeks, the NY-hailing dessert bar whips up this new dessert featuring seasonal Autumn-evoking ingredients like pumpkin, dried fruits and pecan.
 

Tortellini stewed beef in red wine with vegetables and truffle sauce at Water Library Brasserie

This new dish is specially created for the event, featuring stewed beef in thin but firm tortellini, served with some vegetables and dashes of truffle sauce.

 


On top of all the special dishes, there are also cooking shows by renowned Iron Chefs every Sun from 2pm (you can also try what they cook!), food demonstration every Sat from 1pm and food tasting from 11am-7pm every weekend. Adding to pleasurable dining experience, a live band also performs on the fifth floor  from 6-7pm and 7:30-8:30pm every day.
 
What’s more, daily deals await! Each restaurant has different promotions. While Monday is All About Sweet day with promotions at dessert shops, Tuesday allows you to up your cup size or buy-one-get-one-free at any coffee shop. If you crave Japanese food, hold on till Wednesday. Thai cuisine shines on Thursday. The One Card members also get more points on Friday and Saturday. And if you bring your family of four and more on Sunday, you’ll get a free special dish from any restaurant.
