This Aug 7-8, Siam@Siam's French restaurant La Vue welcomes Spanish chef Jonay Armas, who was the executive chef of The Principal, a now-defunct former two-Michelin-star restaurant in Hong Kong, for an event dubbed Journey of the Giant. 

 

With 10 years' experience in some of Spain's Michelin-star kitchens, Armas is known for incorporating Asian ingredients in his dishes.

 

Here in Bangkok, he'll execute his European techniques with produce like uni and wagyu from Japan, crab from China, cod from Indonesia, foie gras from the Philippines and eggs from Thailand, to create a special seven-course dinner, priced at B3,500 per person (B4,700 with wine pairing).
