First came news that Tokyo's Omotesando Koffee will open in Bangkok; now it's the turn of Osaka's much-hyped souffle pancake specialist.

According to signs spotted at Siam ParagonGram Cafe & Pancake will open its first Thailand branch at Siam Paragon this July, a dream backed up by a newly created Facebook fanpage.

First opened in 2015, Gram now counts 13 branches in Osaka alone. On top of openings all across Japan, the chain opened its first branch abroad, in Hong Kong, this March.

Gram's main claim to fame are its 4cm-thick premium fluffy pancakes which come in stacks of three layered with syrup, butter and whipped cream. The specialty is served at only three times per day—at 11am, 3pm and 6pm—with only 20 orders per round, so expect some queues upon its July opening.

The pancakes are joined on the menu by other cafe staples like French toast and shaved ice, coffee, tea and smoothies.

So, instead of booking that next Japan trip, stay calm and watch these wobbly wonders in action below.
