Chiang Dao Single Origin Blend

Tasting notes: This single origin blend has the sour and sweet notes of cherries. The chocolate and caramel aftertaste cuts through the acidity that is present and leaves the coffee smooth.Espirito Santo beans are roasted separately for an optimal time as to preserve the herbal notes. The beans from the other regions are roasted together in a dark roasting mode and for much longer to enhance body, intensity and bitter notes.

Cafezinho de Brazil from Nespresso

Tasting notes: This Southern Brazilian bean is part of the limited edition coffee blend from Nespresso. The distinctive and intense flavor of the Arabica beans has notes of sandalwood and walnuts alongside an unidentifiable herbal scent.  The Arabica beans are from Cerrado Minas Gerais and Espirito Santo, along with by dulcet pulped natural Bourbon from Carmo de Minas and Poços de Caldas. The Espirito Santo beans are actually roasted separately, which shows the crazy level of detail that can be involved in making cofee. The beans from the other regions are roasted together for a longer, darker roast that brings body, intensity and bitterness. The result is a 100-percent Brazilian blend that makes for a smooth yet powerful espresso with unexpected herbal notes reminiscent of thyme or rosemary. On Nespresso's intensity scale, Cafezinho is rated a 9, meaning only purists will have it straight. With the addition of milk the bitter flavor of the beans disappears and the nutty and toasted flavors shine through.

Get it at: Nespresso Boutique at Siam Paragon. With a tasting lounge at this location you’re able to try the coffee before you make your purchase. You can also visit the online store at www.nespresso.com or call 1800-019090
