Three venues are branching out without leaving their streets. Thai restaurant Bo.lan and their new partner are going Western (think Gastro 1/6) further down Sukhumvit Soi 26, in a new venue at A Square across from K-Village. La Monita (Mahatun Plaza) is taking over the space next door to them to run a Spanish tapas bar by night and serve Spanish sandwiches at lunch. And the final juicy tidbit, for now, is that Fat Gut’z are getting more serious about their food, with a fusion-minded chef taking the reins at the new Fat’r Gut’z at Seenspace (Thong Lor Soi 13). But there’s no need to worry, you’ll still be able to get your fill of your favorite fish and chips.
