Le Cordon Bleu Dusit Culinary School is holding a free seminar entitled Edible Insects in a Gastronomic Context on Feb 19, 4-7pm.

The seminar will present nutritional profiles of various insects, the practice of eating them along with a cooking demonstration.

The presenters include Dr. Patrick B. Durst from FAO Regional Office of Asia and the Pacific, Dr.Alan Yen from Latrobe University, Ms.Afton Hollaran from University of Copenhagen and Chef Roberto Flore, head chef of Nordic Food Lab, Copenhagen.

You can expect to taste some of the flying goodies from the chef, too.
