There’s a new chef in the kitchen at Phrom Phong’s hip all-day-dining cafe, Bangkok Trading Post.

Phanpat “Ott” Khanchanakub does this light-filled, boutique resort-like space justice with a new Middle-Eastern inspired roasted chicken heavily coated in sumac spice (B520) and a Sicilian-style (meaning coated in an olive crust) grilled butter fish with lemon-basil mashed potatoes (B520).

What you’ll really want to visit for, though, is the Sunday buffet—expect free-flow wine and sometimes even Champagne for your B2,900.
