The man behind the kitchen at the newly Michelin-starred Man Wah of the Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong, Chef Man-Sing Lee, is visiting China House (Mandarin Oriental, 48 Oriental Ave., 02-659-9000). Take your mom to taste his Cantonese creations from now until Aug 12 through a la carte dishes and set menus. The set lunch is B1,688 while the set dinner starts from B2,888. Signature dishes include steamed spotted garoupa, crispy ginger, crabmeat and egg white sauce; smoked fish with five spices, crispy mushroom julienne shrimp and garlic spring roll; and wok-fried Australian Wagyu beef (marble score of 7) with black pepper sauce.
