Hong Kong-based Californian-Mexican food franchise Cali-Mex Bar & Grill is set to open its first Bangkok branch this Jul 18.

 

Taking its inspiration from a US to Mexico road trip, the restaurant's Californian-style Mexican menu highlights typical fare like nachos, burritos and tacos, alongside dishes from the California grill scene, like ribeye steaks, chicken parmigiana and Atlantic salmon.

 

The restaurant at Holiday Inn Sukhumvit Soi 22 will make use of selected ingredients from around the world, from Australian Angus beef and Mexican avocado to Vietnamese seafood, with a menu that also caters to gluten-free and vegetarian diets. Best of all, in line with their 20 Hong Kong branches, each table comes with its own custom-made beer tap.

 

The franchise plans to add the three new outlets around Bangkok before the end of the year—in Silom, Sathorn, and Thonglor.
