Kickstart your health with these superfood extravaganzas

Acai Story

This superfood cafe launched by the owner of Bangkok’s famous health and wellness guide, Ms Happy Diet, serves smoothie bowls made from frozen acai pulp instead of powdered acai. Their signature is the colorful Unicorn Bowl (B215) made with mango, goji berry, kiwi, strawberry, dragon fruit, and nuts. For chocoholics, the Unstoppabowl (B165) comes topped with homemade chocolate sauce.

Brekkie

This cozy little white house close to EmQuartier is another great place to try out signatures like the acai bowl (B260) blended with cold-pressed apple juice and the Cacaonana Bowl (B240) made from cacao and banana with a cold-pressed almond milk base. For those who want something a little different, the Mean Green Spirulina Bowl (B250) is a mixture of spirulina (a "superfood" algae supplement) and passion fruit.

Broccoli Revolution

Alongside its wide range of cold-pressed juices, this vegan restaurant lets you order its smoothies in two forms—by the glass (B180) or in a bowl (B250). A wide selection is available, ranging from the tropical Mango Mania to a minty non-alcoholic Mojito. The restaurant has now opened its second branch in upmarket co-living space, Open House at Central Embassy.

Hunter Poke

Braching beyond its namesake specialism (poke) this Hawaiian restaurant also serves Acai Bowls (B250), as well as Avocado Bowls (B250), which come with a blend of Asian pear, banana, and mango. Their Pitaya Bowl (B220) comes pretty in pink with its mix of strawberry, raspberry, dragon fruit, banana and pineapple.

Makai Acai & Superfood Bar

Having made their name as a supplier of acai pulp puree to top restaurants across Bangkok, Vita Trade has opened its own cafe in both Asoke and Sathorn. Their Signature Acai Bowl (B160/260) combines imported acai and a variety of fruit, inclusive of three additional toppings (add-ons B10-20 each). Some of our other favorites are Butter My Coconuts (B300) with peanut butter and crispy cacao nibs and Tickle My Berries (B260) with goji berries and honey.

Not Just Another Cup

Being one of Sathorn’s best-loved brunch spots, the trendy smoothie bowl has inevitably inched its way on to the menu. Their Acai Bowl (B240) is topped with original superfood granola whilst the Avocado Bowl (B250) comes with crunchy carrot and coconut toppings. Both are gluten-free.
