Last week, popular American ice-cream brand Ben & Jerry's announced on their official Facebook page that they are headed our way.

Their method of doing so—a teaser poster featuring an ice-cream tub riding a tuk-tuk—didn't given us too many details to go on, but safe to say people got really, really excited.

Now we have confirmation of the location and opening date: Siam Paragon's ground-floor, Jul 9.

If you're already having flashbacks to Krispy Kreme's arrival in 2010, you're not alone. In a move that's sure to cause havoc, Ben & Jerry’s have declared opening day to be a free cone day.

Ben & Jerry’s was founded in 1978 in Vermont by Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield, and is known for its outrageous flavor combos.

Visitors to Siam Paragon can already get a glimpse of the operation (or, rather, videos of cows on loop ad infinitum) through peepholes in the hoardings.
