New Bangkok restaurant Triple Ate (888) (126 Prachanivet Village [across from Prachaniwet Market], Tessabanrangraktai Rd., 081-492-2118) provides a good excuse to dine outside of the Sukhumvit area. Set in a retro-furbished house with a terrace and a nicely executed black and white theme, it offers a casual yet upscale atmosphere. The kitchen sticks to the fusion trend with dishes like laab salmon (B160), grilled saba with teriyaki sauce (B180), yam pla dib (seafood topped with spicy sauce, B200) and the recommended liguini with prawn spicy pink vodka sauce (B180).
