The latest and biggest store from Bangkok fashion's power couple Wannasiri Kongman and Jesse Dorsey, the designers behind Boyy, whose buckle bags rocketed to worldwide fashion fame after making an appearance in the Street Styles of Fashion Weeks in Paris and New York.
Why it's exciting: Interior classiness that appears effortless, the result of clean lines and a modern aesthetic: Brazilian granite floor, American clay walls, a colorful painting by New York-based artist Les Rogers and podium pieces from Rotterdam’s Sabine Marselis Studio.

Joining the abundance of new retail and restaurants at Gaysorn Village is the first spa-slash-store by Thai spa-goods brand Erb. Its cool mint rooms feature ivy and flower installations created by funky, local headdress designer Eric Tobua.
Why it's exciting: Erb's spa treatments are all the rage right now, especially among some of Thailand's more visible celebrities. The gold facial therapy treatment (B4,900) seems to be popping up on IG feeds a lot lately. If you don't want to splurge on that, Erb's take-home spa products are some of the best in town.

Japan's master of all things minimal Muji's flagship Bangkok store rivals the behemoth lifestyle emporiums back in the motherland. At one thousand square meters, the space at CentralWorld is Muji's biggest in Thailand yet, and goes beyond the pared-back basics of toiletries, stationery, kitchenware, clothing and bedding we've come to expect.
Why it's exciting: It's the first Muji location in Thailand featuring some of the brand's most popular sub-collections, like Found Muji, which borrows materials and techniques from around the world and works them into Muji's patented minimalist designs. There's also ReMuji, which revives vintage garments through indigo dyeing techniques.

New beauty salon Ladyford looks feminine, light and staffed by hairstylists who know their way around a curling iron. Head stylist Bunsong Praabputsa, who’s been in the salon industry for 16 years, will give you that perfectly wavy, loose perm of your dreams (check the Facebook photos if you don’t believe us) for B3,200. Coloring uses Wella products and starts from B2,800—exactly the same as the Nioxion haircare treatments. If you just need a simple wash and blowdry before a big event, that’ll be B1,100.
Why it's exciting: It's one of the only pure salons in the area with standards this high and prices this good—excluding the niche barber Barberford, which opened a few years ago under the same owner.

After its success with branches in Thonglor and Wireless Rd., Sushi Cyu is now open to the masses at CentralWorld. Unlike the other two branches, the CentralWorld location solely focuses on omakase with fresh ingredients like salmon from Norway and other seafood from Japan. Sushi Cyu's a la carte offering is also very strong, offering up a Japan's “greatest hits” menu of sorts with classics like tonkatsu and tempura.
Why it’s exciting: Sushi Cyu CentralWorld clocks in at one of the most affordable omakase experiences in Bangkok (B1,850/10 courses), but still imports much of its produce from Japan and Europe to get the job done. If you’ve been itching to try your first omakase dinner, this is as safe a bet as any.
