The venue: Suea Non Kin is a sexy little secret among young and hip artist-types: a two-story Thai house with purple exposed-brick walls, funky retro decor and an atmospheric front lawn, all tucked away in a tiny lane off Sukhumvit 31.

Why it’s hot: We’re not 100% sure. It could be the good Thai food that’s relatively inexpensive, or it could be the laidback vibe, but whatever the reason, it’s packed nearly every single night with large groups of Thai friends.

The guys: Cute, skinny, bespectacled artist-types in t-shirts and jeans, and some of their slightly yuppier, first jobber PR friends.

The girls: Young, cute and trendy with interesting ensembles that have clearly taken creative thought and assembly at home.

Come here to pick up: Someone to go with you to movies at House RCA and art exhibitions at the nearby TCDC.

Recommended chat up line: ”I can’t decide what’s hotter: the weather, the grilled mackerel…or you.”
