A new way out of Suvarnabhumi airport courtesy of BMTA
The BMTA is launching a new option to get out of the airport with a bus line directly from Suvarnabhumi airport to Sanam Luang, starting from Jun 1.
The Bangkok Mass Transit Authority (BMTA) has launched its new S1 bus, operating from Jun 1 onwards. The S1 offers an alternative way to get out of Suvarnabhumi airport for people who don’t want to be stuck at the airport link line. It runs straight from the airport's terminal building first floor, gate no.7, to Sanam Luang, plus two more stops on Yommarat road and Khaosan road. Also, to get back to the airport, you can just catch the bus from Sanam Luang at the World War I monument near the Somdet Phra Pinklao bridge. A ticket for each ride costs B60.
