A capacity crowd of 17000 were treated to an entertaining but ultimately goalless encounter as last year's champions Muangthong took on these year's current league leaders Buriram at the Yahama Stadium. The draw on Saturday did allow another Bangkok club, in the form of BEC Tero, to move within a point of Chonburi and into second place after the Fire Dragons recorded a straightforward 3-0 win against the struggling Sisaket FC. Army United also remain firmly in the title race after some tough recent games with a 2-1 victory over Chiang Rai, while Thai Port continued their revival in form with an impressive 3-1 away win at Osotspa M-150 Saraburi. But not all the Bangkok club's had such a good weekend  with the biggest upset of the round coming in the game between Bangkok Glass and the previously point-less TOT SC. The Glass Rabbit were tipped as title contenders before the start of the season but this 2-1 defeat now leaves them just three points off the relegation places.
