The Bangkok Hilarious crew is hosting its monthly comedy night this May 2. Expect eight live shows by Bangkok-based talents, kicking off at 8pm, plus music by the usual resident DJ Rory Breaker-Morant. In a change from the usual Friday night open mic nights, the Royal Oak pub’s Comedy Club welcomes Ari Shaffir, the LA-based stand-up comic and the host of Comedy Central’s This is Not Happening, on May 5. It looks to be another big night at the Thonglor gallery/bar this May 7 as the story-telling crew returns for an intimate event that includes poetry and stories. There’s no theme to the readings, but there will be specially themed Bacardi cocktails.
